- Our Social Dance in JK's Briton Ferry on the 5th August 2011 was a BIG success! There was a lovely sprung wooden dance floor which was large enough for everyone to get up and strutt their stuff! The venue owners were more than helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere with everyone dancing and enjoying the music. A group Merengue got everyone up and running, and we will be trying to organise a monthly event for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye on the website.
- Lissa will be taking part in the Race For Life in July. She will be dancing her way around the 5K and is looking for anyone that may want to do this with her! All for a great cause supporting Cancer Charity. Please email if you are interestedin joining her. Come on ladies it doesn't matter if we come last! Check out www.raceforlife.org
- Lissa will be teaching a Dance Holiday in the Iles of Wight on 3rd September for 4 days. Anyone interested in taking part please email for further details. Price will be around £360 per person including hotel all food (cooked breakfast, packed lunch and three course evening meal) Travel to Iles of Wight will be extra.
- Next Social Dance will be on 20th May 2011 in the Brighton Road Club in Gorseinon, doors open at 7.30pm dancing till 10.30pm entry is £5 per person. Ballroom, Latin American and some Sequence dancing. Smart casual dress be ready to have fun!
- Membership cards are now available, if you have not yet completed a membership slip please ask in class and you will be given your membership card. The card will get you 10% off dance shoes in Star Dancewear in the Swansea Arcade.
Lissa judged the South Wales Amateur Latin Championship on Sunday September 19th, near Chepstow.
- Lissa taught a Dance Holiday in North Wales on the 22nd September. This was a three day course entitled Beyond Basics and everyone who attends should have knowledge of the basics of the Waltz, Cha Cha, Quicksep and Rumba.

- Let's Dance participated in the BBC Big Screen Event in Castle Square in Swansea on the 23rd October. Anyone was welcome to join in with the workshops throught the day where you were taught a simple routine for you take take part in a mass dance at the end of the day around 4pm. Workshops were free and held from 10am to 4pm. The aim was to get Swansea up and dancing!
- Festive Season Ball was a great sucess even though the weather was bitterly cold and it snowed later on in the evening. We were lucky that we were not snowed in! Thanks to everyone who attended, your support is greatly appreciated
- Our first Social evening will be neld on Sunday 20th March 2011 in the Sketty Park Social Club! This will be our first of many social evenings, we plan on bringing one a month to enable you to get up and strutt your newly learned stuff!!!! Admission is 7.30pm til 10.30pm £5 per person. There is a bar at the venue too and it will also mark Lissa's birthday so hopefully a good time will be had by all!
